Adventure Travel Questions:
does any one know about driving to brazil?
me and my wife are considering driving to brazil as a adventure does any one know if a 2005 f150 4 wd pick-up is suitable for the roads I will travel
While it can be done, the issue is one of safety along rural stretches of road in Southern Mexico, Guatemala and El Salvador, there is little or no police protection and you are totally on your own. Americans get kidnapped regularly in such places. As far as vehicle, you would likely be ok, but a Hummer would be best since some of the roadways can be flooded & muddy at times. Good Luck!
