Adventure Travel Questions:
How to decide when to Travel?
My goal in life is to travel and see the world.
Right now I work as a server at an upscale restaurant and I go to school. But, I was just given the amazing opportunity to move to Australia and then to travel to Europe while living virtually rent free for as long as I like, with a guaranteed job and everything at my fingertips and I can do this when ever I feel like it. BUT if I move there in the next few months, my college degree will be put on hold. I’ve gotten mixed reviews about this, I love to work and I don’t mind working hard, and I feel like I can go back to school whenever I feel ready after I have my adventure, but my father feels it is imperative that I graduate college before opting to travel anywhere. Does anyone else have any insight on this subject? I am just weighing my options right now because I don’t want to be hasty and I want to make an educated decision.
Why not study in Australia? Clearly you will need to look at what visa’s you will need to study here however it’s an option. Also not sure if you can work while on a students visa or if you can study while on a working visa.

Are You Planning an Outback of Australia Adventure?
Those looking for adventure and the experience of a lifetime usually find themselves considering a trip to the famous outback of Australia.
There are many reasons why the outback of Australia is number one for tourists seeking adventure: the beautiful weather; the amazing wildlife; the heritage and the activities just to name a few of the stunning attractions in ‘the bush’.
Hiking or bush walking is a massive draw to those seeking an outback Australian adventure. Hiking is a great way to see some of the beautiful views that Australia is famous for, and by going on a bushwalk you will be seeing all of it the way that nature intended.
Hiking is particularly great in the Blue Mountains which have amazing panoramic views that will literally take your breath away or bushwalking in the national park of Kakadu which has a magical effect, allowing you to feel completely at ease with your surroundings.
Another reason why the outback of Australia is ideal for a once in a lifetime adventure trip is the opportunity to rock climb. Now, although rock climbing is not limited to Australia, obviously, it is famous for it. This is because the vast and mainly uninhabited land is scattered with rocks that are just waiting to be explored.
Once at the top, you will be able to see just how amazing and unusual it is to see such a great expanse of land that hasn’t been tarnished with housing developments and other eye sores. These rocks vary in size and difficulty, meaning that everyone, whether a novice or experienced will be able to face a challenge in the great Australian outback.
Some of the most popular outback destinations in Australia are Flinders Ranges, Longreach and Broken Hill.
Flinders Ranges is situated in the south of Australia and it is the largest mountain range in the south of Australia. These ranges are famous for the Ediacara Hills where some of the oldest fossils were discovered in 1946.
The plants and the animals which live in these ranges are probably one of the main draws for the visitors. From the red kangaroo, the yellow-footed rock wallaby and the awe inspiring dragon lizard. These animals are a symbol of Australia and where better to see them than in their natural habitat.
In Flinders Range, you can explore the legendary desert tracks and the natural amphitheatre of Wilpena Pound. These are massive tourist draws for those travellers wishing to have an Australian outback adventure trip.
Longreach, which is situated in Queensland, has a majestic river which is situated within it. The name is taken from this river and is renowned for helping the wary traveller to relax and take in the scenery.
Longreach is aimed more towards tourists with horse and buggy rides available and campfires which you can join. However, if you are of a more artistic position, they also have poetry readings. These have had great reviews and are a massive draw to the place.
In New South Wales, you will find the destination of Broken Hill. This is an old mining town and now is the inspiration for many artists and film makers.
The Pro Hart Gallery and Sculpture Park is popular and contains a huge range of paintings and sculptures from noted Australian artists. It is also a great place to watch the sun set with its red desert sands and breathtaking landscape.
