Please HELP! Bored 16 Year Old Looking for CHEAP Away from Home Volunteer Project or Adventure for the Summer?
I want to be with other people MY AGE and either stay at someplace away from home or camp out in a new place each night.
I’d like to either be part of a project that helps people or the the environment OR go on an expedition into the wilderness or across the country…maybe a smaller foreign country 
I’ve run into some interesting programs like Los Amigos, Nols, Outward Bound, The Road Less Traveled, etc. but they are all REALLY expensive.
I’ve also checked into some organizations like the Student Conservation Association and Youth Conservation Corps. that are either free or they pay you! Unfortunately, these were all full in April.
So here I am stuck… Yearning for some great adventure but just glued to my computer all day.
I need your help. Please give me an idea/program that will turn my summer from a mediocre one to a great one!
