Hello everyone,I was hoping to gets some ideas how to best experience the UK and Europe. Would love some feedback from experienced backpackers and adventure seekers, would appreciate information on places of interest, best prices on accommodation,food,flights etc. I look forward to hearing from as many people as possible to get the best out of my working holiday.
If you want cheap accomodations in UK and Europe, go to any branch of the YHA or Youth Hostel Association. In London, the branch is somewhere in St. Pauls station using the London Underground. You pay a fee and they give you a card which you can use around Europe for a price and they mark it with a sticker. If the card is maxed with stickers, you get the next accomodation either free or discounted. I have been travelling most of Europe living on these hostels and its also a great way to meet new friends.
While in UK, go online to RYANAIR or EASYJET flights as they are the cheapest ones around (some flights may cost only $20 on good days)
